Marketing Communications Manager

Koverse is looking for a creative, energetic and technologically savvy Marketing Communications Manager to join our team in Seattle. This is a hands-on position managing Koverse’s marketing programs, with room for growth. The Marketing Communications Manager will oversee our website, sales tools, partner marketing, social media, and services launch activities reaching four target markets: enterprise, U.S. defense, U.S. intelligence community, and federal civilian agencies.

As a Marketing Communications Manager you will:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies encompassing demand generation, sales enablement, partner marketing, and events
  • Manage website content updates, SEO/SEM, and social media presence
  • Ensure consistent messaging across communication channels to effectively represent our solutions and services to customers, prospects, employees, partners, and media
  • Work with our technical copywriting resources to create content such as sales tools, white papers, and blog posts 
  • Work with our web development/design resources to maintain site content and design updates 
  • Work independently and with our graphic design resources to create sales tools including flyers, PowerPoint presentations, demo guides, short-form videos, etc.
  • Work with our public relations agency and parent company’s communications team on new service launch communications and other key announcements
  • Establish measurement methodologies for all marketing campaigns and maintenance activities, analyzing results in terms of ROI and market-focused success criteria 

We are looking for the following experience:

  • 6+ years of marketing communications experience in a technology start-up or established technology company 
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • High proficiency with SEO/SEM web analytics tools (Google Analytics, AdWords, etc.)  
  • Hands-on social media experience reaching professional audiences, with excellent short-format writing ability
  • Highly organized self-starter with strong project management skills, and proven ability to multi-task and deliver initiatives on time
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing a high degree of autonomy with dedicated teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, spoken and interpersonal 
  • A solid understanding of big data technology 
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • B.A. or B.S. in a marketing/communications discipline, or equivalent work experience
